The position:
As a salaried in-house employee or as a part-time or full-time teleworker, you are responsible for the prompt and reliable preparation of translations.
Ideally you also enjoy working as an editor/proofer and will act as the final quality supervisor before we forward the texts to our clients.
Freelancers are also welcome.
Your profile:
You are a native speaker of the English language. Excellent knowledge of German is a must; knowledge of French and other foreign languages would be of considerable advantage.
You are able to work quickly and accurately even under deadline pressure.
Language graduates and those with experience of working as a translator or editor/proofer preferred.
Lateral entries with an excellent feel for language are also welcome.
You also have well-founded specialist knowledge of at least one of the following areas: Insurance, Finance and Banking. Further specialist knowledge in Business, Law, Marketing, Information Technology and Industry & Technology would be a plus.
